Arber Sefa
photographer

I’m a self-taught photographer from Kosovo living in Brussels. I graduated in theater directing at RITCS Brussels in 2017.

As a child I was always drawing images of things I had seen, or pictures I imagined. I find myself doing the same thing in photography, in a constant interaction of reality, fiction and spontaneity.

My main topic being people, my portraits start with my relation to them. More particular, I often find inspiration from relationships with my family members and friends, which allows me to connect emotionally with my subject.

Working mostly black and white with rich contrasts, I aim to portray an obscure and honest universe through portraiture.
