Marie Hochhaus
photographer

“This world is not real.”

Marie Hochhaus is living and working in Hamburg, Germany.

Besides of working as a freelance photographer she currently studies visual communication (main focus on photography, especially fashion and portraitphotography) at the university of applied sciences in Hamburg.

Her work has been published in several online and print magazines such as N.E.E.T magazine, Material Girl Magazine, scout magazine, Vogue Italia, NEON, traum noir and exhibitions.

“I’m inspired by love, sleep, taking the bus, baking cookies with a long drink in my hand on rainy days, wood, flowers, magic and girls. Photography is a way to express my emotions.

My pictures are a place to hide away, a place to be free, to tell stories, a possibility to be someone else, a chance to be me, a place to grow and to never grow up.”
