14th Biennale de Lyon

Since its creation in 1991, each guest curator has been asked to think of a keyword. The 14th edition of the Biennale de Lyon is the second volume of a trilogy around the word “modernity”. Now through January 7, 2018.

Aesthetica Short Film Festival

A Short Film Festival, founded in 2011 by Aesthetica, is an international film festival which takes place annually in York, UK. It a celebration of independent film from around the world, and an outlet for supporting and championing filmmaking. November 8-12, 2017.

Being Modern: MoMA in Paris

The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) and Fondation Louis Vuitton announce the first exhibition in France to present MoMA’s unparalleled collection featuring masterworks of Max Beckmann, Alexander Calder, Paul Cézanne, Marcel Duchamp, Walker Evans, Jasper Johns, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Gustav KlimtPablo Picasso, and many others. Opens October 11 and showing through March 5, 2018.

Swab Barcelona is an international art fair that brings together galleries from around the world, curated projects and programs to showcase young, emerging talent in contemporary art. September 28 – October 1, 2017.

First announced in 2013, the ambitious four-year project to convert the historic Grain Silo at the V&A Waterfront into a cutting edge art museum is officially completed with The Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa.
