The COVID-19 outbreak has imposed restrictions in movement. As part of an ongoing initiative, photographers of Magnum Photo are sharing information and new work made in these strange and difficult times.
Alice Lisi (1991) graduated from the CFP Bauer of Milan and the following year attended the Studio Marangoni Foundation of Florence, specializing in photojournalism. Her other studies have included Advertising and Graphics Design at Formatemp, Milan, Liceo Scientifco A. Einstein in Rimini, and Masterclass Photojournalism at Fondazione Studio Marangoni.
Her initial focus with photography was using it as a visual language to investigate deeply the emotional origins of her subjects. Her work has evolved into narratives of universal experiences. From the “photographic diary” towards a kind of social reportage.
