The “Blurred Lines” exhibition at Load Gallery is currently taking place from December 13, 2024, to January 11, 2025. This group show aims to transform the dialogue surrounding contemporary media art, highlighting bold ventures that explore boundaries and enhancing appreciation for the pioneering work of artists who navigate the space between the physical and digital worlds.
The exhibition features artists who defy conventional distinctions in art, challenging perceptions of identity and reality. It captures the dynamic essence of media art, blending various genres that challenge traditional classifications and promote a more inclusive conversation within the artistic community.
Among the artists showcased is Vince Fraser, whose Afro-surrealist creations reinterpret historical narratives in contemporary settings, providing empowering depictions of the African diaspora. Massimo Colonna’s “Paper Dreams” series encourages viewers to ponder the fragile divide between reality and dreams, inviting reflections on memory and personal experience.
Samuel Pietri employs generative systems to examine the boundaries of human perception, crafting abstract landscapes that challenge viewers’ understanding of reality.
“My artistic vision right now is very much focused on the perception of digital artworks and the experience people face while viewing them. I am particularly interested in the sensory visual experience. The exhibition that I brought here is called ‘Limen’. I’m trying to explore the lines and boundaries and different ways of limitations and possibilities of our visual system.”

“Technology for me is a possibility, it’s like my partners. I create digital works and I can bring them into reality through the installation. The work that I exhibit for this time is called ‘Two Infinities and Beyond’. The main visual element here is a Star Ring. I want people to immerse themselves into my vision of the Universe. I hope the Universe looks like this: colorful and has many gradients.”

“My art pieces are always focused on interactive installations. There are so many digital landscapes here: I tried to transform the Load gallery into a place where visitors can easily explore various landscapes in just a few steps. This is the main concept I wanted to present. I also want the audience to reflect on how we can rebuild nature in the digital world.”
