During this three-day online festival, a new generation of designers and performing artists from all over the world get the opportunity to show their work. The program for this digital edition contains exhibitions tours, interviews, fashion performances and cross-overs with theatre and dance but will also stage three live program components: the Fashion Makes Sense Award Show, The Locals and The Clash House.

FASHIONCLASH is an interdisciplinary showcase and development platform for fashion & fashion culture and a worldwide network of emerging fashion makers based in Maastricht, The Netherlands.

FASHIONCLASH initiates, produces and presents existing and new work of a new generation of fashion makers who research, reflect, contextualize and celebrate contemporary fashion(culture) from the intrinsic question: How can fashion contribute to a better, healthier and more inclusive society?

    In collaboration with the cultural institution Salt, Istanbul, the Kunstverein in Hamburg presents the exhibition The 90s Onstage, with extensive German, English and Turkish language program. The exhibition The 90s Onstage consists of interwoven formats and approaches that put a variety of media – visual art, performance, television, theater, painting, music videos, talk shows and installation, elements of stage design – from the 1990s in Turkey into dialogue.   • Eoghan Ryan: Against the Day

    Irish artist Eoghan Ryan’s solo exhibition Against the Day at the Edith-Russ-Haus for Media Art spans moving image, installation, performance, puppetry, and collage. His new commission, the video installation Circle A (2023), premieres in the company of three installations from recent years. These works explore the intricacies of how power is communicated through media culture and language. In adapting personas, characters, and unrehearsed conversations, they expand into fable-like takes on the collective and the personal as “institutions”. (more…)
