During this three-day online festival, a new generation of designers and performing artists from all over the world get the opportunity to show their work. The program for this digital edition contains exhibitions tours, interviews, fashion performances and cross-overs with theatre and dance but will also stage three live program components: the Fashion Makes Sense Award Show, The Locals and The Clash House.

FASHIONCLASH is an interdisciplinary showcase and development platform for fashion & fashion culture and a worldwide network of emerging fashion makers based in Maastricht, The Netherlands.

FASHIONCLASH initiates, produces and presents existing and new work of a new generation of fashion makers who research, reflect, contextualize and celebrate contemporary fashion(culture) from the intrinsic question: How can fashion contribute to a better, healthier and more inclusive society?

    Prisma Art Prize is an art contest born to promote emerging painters and visual artists. As our name and logo suggests, we want to be a prism that refracts all the possible outcomes of the painting process. What we want is to answer a fundamental question in the current artistic context: what does painting mean today?     Anu Põder (1947-2013) is one of Estonia’s most revelatory voices of the last five decades. Her work has stood out since the 1970s as uniquely crafted, originally conceived, and deeply personal.     In 1978 Grey Crawford created a body of colour photographic work that was so radical in its aesthetic and technique that few people to this day understand how it was made. Chroma documents late 70s Los Angeles in a period of radical urban transformation. Scenes of vernacular architecture, demolition sites and everyday places are contrasted with graphic forms that float on the surface and sit within the image. (more…)

    We all have ideas of what a contemporary art museum should be. Those who founded Mudam Luxembourg, for example, envisioned a museum that would encompass many aspects of contemporary culture, such as art, design and architecture. While one believes the museum to be a place for the presentation of modern art, others view it as a showcase for Luxembourgish creation.
