REVERSO
19th Media Art Biennale
WRO / May 12 – Dec 31, 2021
Wroclaw, Poland

Establishing diverse channels and forms of contact between viewers and participants through a program of media art exhibitions and presentations taking place both in real spaces in Wroclaw and/or held simultaneously at another venue, such as the Watermans Art Centre in London, HEVRE in Cracow and Mains d’Oeuvre in Paris.

The WRO 2021 REVERSO program is an attempt at a search for a new qualitative path in art and redefinition of development in opposition to the idea of building meaning through continuous growth. Activism, critical reflection, and imagination in artistic practice and communication. Consumption analysis, cumulativity, reused materials, items and states recovered as an art form.

Media Art Biennale WRO 2021 REVERSO starts on May 12. The international program comprising four subsequent exhibitions and hybrid activities will run until December 2021.

Artistic Director of the WRO Biennale: Piotr Krajewski
Director of the WRO Art Center: Viola Krajewska
Organizer: WRO Art Center / WRO Center for Media Art Foundation
