My work in porcelain is about process, form and design. I become absorbed and consumed with the process of throwing, altering and molding the clay. One of the biggest joys is the feel of porcelain as I push the limits of its elasticity. I love experimenting with the forms that are created and then playing with design elements on their surfaces. My work with clay is an ever changing, evolving process and the idea that there is always something new to create is completely compelling.

ChannelingSep 23, 2023 – Feb 11, 2024Channeling presents new acquisitions alongside other works from the MUSEUM MMK FÜR MODERNE KUNST’s collection. Different perspectives may emerge in the space between objects. This space relates to the distance of time between the works’ making and their positioning in the exhibition.
