“Constellations: Contemporary Jewelry from the Dallas Museum of Art” showcases more than 350 works from one of the most significant contemporary jewelry collections in the United States.

Elisa Turri

Elisa Turri was born in Verona in 1998.
After attending an art high school specializing in audiovisual and multimedia studies, she graduated in 2020 with a degree in New Media Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts of Verona. In 2021, she moved to Milan, where she received a scholarship to pursue a Master’s degree in Photography at the Raffles Milano Institute.
Her photographic world is rooted in an intimate and observational approach to everyday life. She is drawn to stillness, traces, and the subtle presence of time within ordinary spaces. Rather than documenting actions or events, her work focuses on what remains: objects and fragments of lived moments that for her carry emotional residue. Light plays a central role in her images, shaping forms and atmospheres and contributing to a delicate yet mysterious visual language, filled with a quiet human presence. Through photography she invites viewers to slow down and observe what is usually overlooked.
Her projects have been exhibited in various group exhibitions in Italy, including (in)tangible at STILL Fotografia in Milan. In 2025, she presented REBORN, a solo exhibition at Dolci Colori in Verona, where her photographs were developed in collaboration with an embroidery artist, expanding the images through textile intervention.
She currently lives and works in Milan.
