Since 2006, Les Douches la Galerie has promoted both contemporary and historical photography, formal experiments and current artistic endeavors that push the boundaries of the medium. While being the exclusive representative in France of the estates of Berenice Abbott, Arlene Gottfried, Ernst Haas and Vivian Maier, Les Douches la Galerie also assists living artists in enlarging their audiences in France and abroad. Through more than sixty individual and group exhibitions and a rich collection of nearly 2,500 photographs, the Galerie offers a vast selection of works from the dawn of the 20th Century to the present day, with an eye to excellence in printing. In championing the artists and estates that we represent, the Galerie assists both museums and private collectors, be they novice or seasoned, in establishing their collections. Les Douches la Galerie is a member of AIPAD (Association of International Photography Art Dealers) and participates in international fairs such as Paris Photo, AIPAD’s Photography Show in New York and PHOTOFAIRS Shanghai.
