After spending her childhood in Brittany, always a camera in her hands, Lucie arrives in Paris and quickly dedicate herself to professional photography. Although she began by photographing Paris and its monuments, she quickly discovers the universe of studio. Worshiper of perfection and flawless images, she decides to devote herself to the picture of beauty. Despite she’s 22, Lucie is always trying to reach a high level of sophistication and a mastery of light and retouching.

Whereupon expands the premise of his recent book Fever, (color photographs of 1981), to show a broader time period with the same subject: his artist friends in their apartments and lofts and on the streets of New York. Today, over 4,000 logistic centers have been implanted across the region in a rapid movement to bring commerce to the region. Once identified by its untouched land, the area has become enveloped by the sprawling network of warehouses that define the region’s skyline. As this part of Southern California quickly becomes the backbone of America’s road-based supply chain, it simultaneously introduces many repercussions to the daily lives of communities that call the Inland Empire home.
