I deal with the space and subtle constructions in my images, precisely inspired by the characteristics of a certain place.

In this project I try to reflect the uncertainty of things, giving a certain perspective to create an ambiance where the objects are shown as composed ready-mades. The sculptural side of objects and the flatness of the settings had been chosen to provoke another possible perception of the viewer.

The exhibition will showcase a polyvocal assemblage of new and recent paintings, drawings, and video portraits that together reveal Pendleton’s interest in creating a conversation between mediums, as well as his belief in abstraction’s capacity to destabilize and disrupt.
