A springboard for artists and a trendsetter, Circulation(s) is the place to be and a reflection of the vibrant contemporary European art scene, as well as the must-see event for the photography of tomorrow. Its program is based on a public call for submissions and an annual search by the artistic direction of the Fetart collective, which welcomes three new members this year.
The Circulation(s) festival returns to Centquatre-Paris, a leading cultural institution in eastern Paris, for its 16th edition, from March 21 to May 17, 2026, with the presentation of series by 26 artists of 15 different nationalities. With no pre determined theme, the projects capture the pulse of young European photography, its intuitions, its challenges, and its commitments.
Each year, the Circulation(s) festival highlights a particular European photography scene in its “Focus” section, one that is underrepresented in its call for submissions and among the artists regularly exhibited. In 2026, after Ukraine and Lithuania, Ireland will be invited to join, on the eve of its Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

Since 2011, the Circulation(s) festival has been exploring contemporary issues through the eyes of emerging European photographers. Once again this year, by presenting 26 artists of 15 different nationalities, the Fetart collective, creator and artistic director of the festival, offers an open artistic vision, rich in contrasts and trends.
Each year during the Circulation(s) festival, the Fetart collective offers, in parallel with its exhibitions, a program of events to allow everyone to exchange and meet around the image.

A professional weekend
A real highlight of the festival, this weekend supports artists in their professional development through portfolio reviews, masterclasses on publishing, scenography and printing, as well as technical and legal advice provided by the partners in attendance.
Studios photo
The public is invited to enjoy a professional photo shoot experience in front of the lenses of photographers from a variety of backgrounds. With creative backdrops or more traditional backgrounds to choose from, everyone can have their portrait taken and leave with a signed A4 print, which can be framed on site.
Public Prize
Each year, Public Prize is awarded to the visitor’s favorite of the photographers on show. Anyone with a ticket is invited to cast their vote, on site.

Fetart is the creator and organizer of the Circulation(s) festival. Its artistic direction is fully assured by 7 independent curators specializing in emerging photography. A wide range of sensibilities and assertive positions meet and support each other, with a deliberate choice for plurality of expression. It is this consideration for others that marks the identity of the festival and is at the heart of its operation.
For the 2026 edition, the artistic direction is undergoing a partial renewal and welcoming three new members: Caroline Benichou, Ioana Mello and Lucille Vivier-Calicat. They join Carine Dolek, Laetitia Guillemin, Marie Guillemin and Emmanuelle Halkin.
