NRW-Forum Düsseldorf is an international exhibition centre spotlighting photography, pop and digital culture.
In group and solo exhibitions, festivals, symposia, workshops, fairs, film screenings and other innovative formats, we find high-energy, dialogue-based ways to address the issues currently shaping our society. The interdisciplinary program is distinguished by artistic quality and cultural relevance on the highest level, while remaining intellectually accessible and engaging.
NRW-Forum Düsseldorf is an agora of contemporary culture, a social setting, and a place for experimentation and dialogue – in the real world as well as the virtual realm.
We initiate targeted offerings for the whole family and for people from all walks of life. We rely here on collaborations and participation, bringing together creative talents, artists and all visitors. A special emphasis is placed on knowledge transfer, cultural education and active participation, particularly in the areas of media literacy and technological understanding. Our aim is to take a matter-of-fact and yet critical approach to the latest developments in cultural technology, especially with regard to the internet.
