Sasha Pompei born in Chile with Italian and French roots is a photographer currently living in Guadalajara, Mexico. Ironically, captured by the film of her first shooting, her motivation is to create a bond between memory, the quotidian, the intimate, relationships, and the urban, in order to capture her vision of the esthetic and the controversial.

Through journalistic photography, trying to submerge in diverse realities, going further the conventional and noticing the magic and beauty in details. She strongly believes that there is a special spark in every existence and her work illustrate it.

She captivates childhood, life in the streets, surrealistic moments, intimacy. With the idea that the audience experience and feel something when they see it.

In the moment of every shot, Sasha also creates a connection with the person who’s being photographed, composing concepts and emotions through an image.
