Silvia Poropat
Photographer

Silvia Poropat’s approach to photography starts at a very young age, being inspired by her dad’s passion. After graduating in graphic design at the Rome Academy of Fine Arts, she begins her own visual journey, approaching fashion photography first, and wedding photography then. She currently works as a destination documentary wedding photographer all over Italy and abroad. When she’s not shooting weddings, she loves to get lost and observe the people around her, near or far in the world, documenting moments. Her imaginary is deeply influenced by her Italian roots, mixed with a modern and international language. She’s inspired the most by the beauty of ordinary, urban environments, horses, elder people and absurd situations. Her images are full of melancholy and nostalgia, depicting suspended words out from time and space.
