Sophie Barbasch is a photographer based in Providence, R.I., where she is currently an MFA candidate at the Rhode Island School of Design. She holds a BA in Studio Art and Art History from Brown University. In 2011, she participated in residencies at the Vermont Studio Center and the Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts. Recent publications include The Atlantic Online, Meatpaper Magazine, and Conveyor Magazine. She has exhibited in New York and Rhode Island.
