Storm King Art Center is a 500-acre outdoor museum located in New York’s Hudson Valley, where visitors experience large scale sculpture and site specific commissions under open sky. Since 1960, Storm King has been dedicated to stewarding the hills, meadows, and forests of its site and surrounding landscape. Building on the visionary thinking of its founders, Storm King supports artists and some of their most ambitious works.   • Camilo Godoy: renacemos a cada instante

    As the New Museum’s 2023–24 Artist-in-Residence, Camilo Godoy will create a performance exploring movement, breathing, and mourning practices. The title of his residency is borrowed from an embroidered work made by the queer Paraguayan artist Feliciano Centurión in 1995, the year before he died of AIDS-related complications. Godoy adjusts Centurión’s title Renazco a cada instante (I am reborn at every moment) to renacemos a cada instante (we are reborn at every moment) to emphasize collective celebrations of life and death.     In response to our home building’s former life as a fire station, and Trondheim’s history as a city shaped by blazes whose traces are still present in its design today, this group exhibition brings together artists who have been deeply touched and transformed through the challenges manifest in the burnt and burning.     In collaboration with the cultural institution Salt, Istanbul, the Kunstverein in Hamburg presents the exhibition The 90s Onstage, with extensive German, English and Turkish language program. The exhibition The 90s Onstage consists of interwoven formats and approaches that put a variety of media – visual art, performance, television, theater, painting, music videos, talk shows and installation, elements of stage design – from the 1990s in Turkey into dialogue.
