The Studio Museum in Harlem is the nexus for artists of African descent locally, nationally and internationally and for work that has been inspired and influenced by black culture. It is a site for the dynamic exchange of ideas about art and society.

Studio Magazine is a biannual publication with issues dating back to 2005. The magazine offers information about the Museum’s exhibitions and related programming, curated lists of events happening throughout the art world, artist interviews and studio visits, arts education activities, Museum news, and much more.
