This project investigates an incomprehensible disease and does so metaphorically, in a surreal and enigmatic atmosphere. My young body hides a secret inside, an already withered rose. Doctors have studied me for years, without understanding the reason for my pains. My legs weigh as if boulders were attached to my feet. My hands struggle to move and are struck by lightning tremors. Sometimes I feel as if I am breaking, like a tree struggling against the wind. Three pills a day every day and the stomach doesn’t want to take any more food. Anger rises along with crying, and the hair falls like drops on the face. We all in life are shaken by difficult, often complicated, sometimes unsolvable situations. The point lies in how we deal with such situations.The brain, our control center, influences every part of us: cells, organs and functions.
Can a positive attitude really shape the fate of an illness and change my whole life?
