Tirar-se terra al damunt, tirar-se pedres a la pròpia teulada, tirar-se terra a les figues, ésser enemic de si mateix, cavar la pròpia fossa, tallar-se el bastó. (Throwing earth on the top, throwing stones at one’s own head, throwing earth at the figs, being an enemy of oneself, digging one’s own grave, carving one’s own body.)
