Chris shared his family story during a visit in his hometown. At his place in Germany, they have never been good at expressing emotions, he doesn’t feel there is an emotional space to express his depression, making it worse over the years. Even today when he returns to his parents’ house he still feels that pain in her throat, like a lump, which prevents him from expressing.
