I attended the full time photography course in the London School of Photography in 2012. I am currently working on the Zawya Art House Cinema project initiated by Misr International Film. I am also a recent member of the SHOUF Photo Collective, an independent photography collective operating in Egypt creating in-depth photo-essays about Egypt. SHOUF had its second exhibition in Cairo in 2015.

Nada was born in Cairo, and is currently based there.

    Palermo Publishing announces the publication of its first monograph of photography, Whereupon, a selection of images by New York photographer Allen Frame, from the late 1970s to the early 1990s, in black and white and color. Whereupon expands the premise of his recent book Fever, (color photographs of 1981), to show a broader time period with the same subject: his artist friends in their apartments and lofts and on the streets of New York.     “When approaching the subject ‘A Real Woman’, I felt it crucial that this was not a question to be answered, but rather a statement to be considered. There is no single or simple definition of a woman. I hope the different perspectives presented by our artists will inspire viewers to consider the plurality of the womanhood, and thereby encourage understanding and empathy towards those whose lives are shaped differently from their own.
