Gary Briechle’s practice is disciplined, almost monastic. Every day roving around Rockland, Maine in an SUV loaded with chemicals, looking at the same mundane scenes and subjects, but expecting different results.

LAB174 is a space in the center of Rome whose mission is to nurture talent and creativity, giving room to innovative projects.
It is a place that promotes the arts and culture, creating a network through the transmission of talent and experience, allowing for the exchange of passions and ideas, and for the growth of theory, technique and practice.
The 180 square meters gives artists, students and professionals the ability to work together side by side, as well as visibility for their works through exhibitions and publications.
General programing includes exhibitions, presentations, events and workshops, with courses offered in photography, Photoshop, design, 3D, illustration/animation, theater + screenwriting.
