Victoria Nazarova
Photographer

I’m a self-taught photographer based in Saint Petersburg, Russia.

In 2005 went to college taking major in psychology, but by the end of the 4th year of my studies my interest in photography evolved and strait after graduating I took a job at a local photo studio first as an assistant, later as one of the photographers.

Since then I also started working as a freelance photographer shooting mostly reportage and portraits and taking part in various international photo projects.

My personal work for last 3 years is strongly connected to my traveling and mostly contains series of landscape shots. I’m fascinated by the opportunity to capture something that is completely out of my ability to control, but also demanding full intense attention.

Select exhibits and honors include Water.Snow.Ice, Reydarfjordur, Iceland, 2010, Murmur, Saint Petersburg, Russia, 2011, Trip, Saint Petersburg, Russia, 2013, Beginning film festival, Saint Petersburg, Russia, 2014.
