Andrea Stefanelli’s expressive research is configured in different operational and design fields: interactive, video or sound installations, immersive installations, generative art experiments, papier-mâché sculptures, photographic fake news and videomapping.

Andrea obtained his degree in Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Urbino in 2021, pursuing, given his interests, the master’s course in New Technologies for Visual Arts at the Albertina Academy of Fine Arts in Turin, where he is currently studying, completing several collaborations with the institute.

His artistic practice aims to be the result of sociological, anthropological and ethnological research and reflections, with particular interest in image and communication, relational dynamics, approaches and influences of technological mediation in the dynamics of the contemporary, placing cultural and artistic creativity as a necessary shaper of the development of our time.

    The Ukrainian Museum is excited to present the exhibition Peter Hujar: Rialto, opening on 2 May 2024. Peter Hujar (1934-1987) exemplified the downtown New York arts scene. He was born to an immigrant family, and his Ukrainian grandmother raised him exclusively in the Ukrainian language until he was 5 years old. His difficult and unstable upbringing in a troubled household influenced his artistry and vision significantly as Hujar turned to a career in photography. (more…)

Focusing her camera on the socially disadvantaged and those on the fringes of society, she told the stories of her protagonists without prejudice.
